Hi, I am Emily Lee. I joined Lee Properties in 1993 as the receptionist; I slowly worked my way up to Property Manager in 1995. I also married Robert Lee in September of the same year. I worked directly under Rita C. Lee whom at the time was the broker and my mother-in-law. Mrs. Lee is no longer active in brokerage but is still an investor in the campus area. I feel honored to have worked under someone who started in real estate here in Austin in the 1970’s. I obtained my real estate license in 1997. At first we only managed a few properties, mostly for family and close friends. I currently watch over our company, I also watch the market as we are still active investors.We have two wonderful kids that keep us very busy with soccer, guitar lessons and social schedules. My hobbies are exercising, reading, wine and enjoying time with my family and friends.
Director of Operations - Laurie Caudle, ARM
Laurie started her career in Chicago in 1990. Throughout the years she has had the opportunity to earn her ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) designation and gain experience managing high-rises, rehab projects, and new construction. Her dedication to the industry won her the prestigious award of ARM of the year. In Chicago she worked for Charles E Smith Residential Realty and managed more than 700 units. In Austin, she has had the opportunity to continue her involvement with IREM. Here she has worked for companies such as Archstone Smith, Colonial Residential and has overseen various notable development projects including Archstone Monterrey Ranch with over 1000 units, Colonial Grande at Silverado a lease up with over 700 units and The Villas on Guadalupe, the first student mid-rise product in West Campus. She is a licensed REALTOR, member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Board of Realtors, National Board of Realtors and the MLS.Assistant to the Director of Operations - Tess Vervalin
Tess has lived in Austin , TX since 2004. She came to Austin from East Texas where she graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in Education. She taught Kindergarten for two years and decided to change her career path to focus on Business Administration. Tess has many years of customer service and administrative experience, happily serving the needs of others. Her hobbies include sailing, photography, reading and spending time connecting with nature.
Lisa has over 18 years of management experience. She began her career in 1990 in retail management. In 1997 she started managing construction projects in Austin including remodeling, water extraction, re-roofing, siding and mold remediation. Lisa also has extensive knowledge in the repair of historical homes to insure their historical endorsement. In 2003, Lisa became a licensed Realtor and has managed property ever since. Lisa currently oversees management of our Lee Properties’ Portfolio.
April recently relocated to her home state of Texas to be closer to family and continue her career in the Property Management field. She previously spent four years as Property Assistant to a diverse, corporate real estate team in Charlotte, North Carolina. During that time she helped oversee the functionality of several high rises while also working on obtaining her RPA designation through BOMA. April began her stint with Lee Properties as Resident Services Coordinator and has quickly climbed the ranks to her position today.
Crystal started with our development company in 2007. She has worked in construction and warranty management and continues her service with Lee Properties supervising our maintenance team and taking care of our residents and owners. Rachel Hoffman is the senior agent at Lee Properties and has specialized in the UT campus sales, investments and leasing of properties in this area. With over 7 million sold in the last 3 years her expertise has shown through in every transaction. Gary has lived in Austin for 18 years, and received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Red McCombs School of Business at UT. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an admitted electronic gadget junkie. However, his passion is working with clients and showing the unique properties that Austin has to offer.
